I have found this article on Fresh Air on NPR. I can't read papers or books so I am not up on all the Medical Plans being purposed by President Obama but I have been so frustrated. When I was nurse, things were so simple and people got into health care because for the most part they enjoyed taking care of people. People with a common goal: to assist people when they were sick but after DRG’s (regulation controlling the length of hospital stays) were instituted, the health care system in this country went to the …you can’t say the dogs because most dogs get better care than most people do. It seems in this country when certain “people” get an idea, “I can make lots of money doing this” let’s dive in. Then after they have raped the health care system or the home loan business for example for billions of dollar of profit, they are off on their yachts enjoying the spoils. Then common sense people have to come in and pick up the pieces fixing what the money-grubbing creeps have ripped off. Then they complain because they don’t want anyone in their business screw the poor people they need a helping hand. I hope that with my whole heart we become a Nation that lends a helping hand to all that need a step up…we only have one life. Enjoy the article from NPR.
