Dad fell

An update from Mary Ann about Dad-
"FYI, dad fell this morning getting up to go to the bathroom. He laid on the floor for almost 3 hours before he was able to get ahold of someone. He has brush burns on his forehead, knees and elbows from squiming around on the bedroom floor trying to get himself up. He had his cell phone but couldn't see to dial the numbers. Finally he got ahold of Carl and Carl was able to go and get him up, showered and fed. I went up this afternoon and cleaned up the blood in the carpet, got his groceries and something to eat for dinner. Carl was going to check on him tonight. I did talk to dad about getting the life alert thing we had for mom. I really feel we need to insist that he do this and I don't think he'll give us much grief because I think he was scared about what happened today. Anyway, don't mean to rain on your fun time with Jenni but wanted to let you know. He sees his PCP on Tues so he can get checked out for any injuries. We can look into the life alert thing next week.Enjoy the warm weather- its friggin cold up here."
