Liz sent me some pictures; they depict union workers picketing outside. The location is where Liz’s office will be shortly. She has been told that there are three dates set for contracts to be signed, if the unions decide to wait until the last date before finalizing the contract, it could take until august for matters to be settled. Therefore, Liz may be living with her bags packed – no vacation allowed until a new contract is signed or until the entire union walks out 150,000 and then she flights to Detroit to go out and ride in trucks that fix ATT’s phone problems. The entire situation has her very upset and very mad. It feels like she has enlisted into the armed forces.

Fat Tuesday
I did discuss yesterday Bio-identical hormone replacement. I know what the frack does that have to do with me? If the doctors we visit are not knowledgeable, how can they give us the proper care? I remember when Brian was 10 years old and we went to an ENT doctor to have the inside of his nose cauterized, the doctor said that he read that Tourette Syndrome was a disorder but had no idea what it entailed. This was not the only doctor that did not know about T.S. so what can you do, just go along, and hope that you fall into the care of a “good” doctor. It just makes me so mad; I am tired of doing all the work for my health care. It might be that my pain shapes so much, how I view the world. It is just so frustrating. I did explain to my doctor about the Bio-identical hormones and gave him the name of the women leading the charge. I will ask him again when I see him for my yearly physical. I will also keep my eye open for a new doctor with more up to date skills. Being my doctor is a service like every other service and if someone can do a better job and care I will change doctors.
Liz is home… she did it; she took the 24’ ladder off the truck, carried it to the pole on her shoulder, secured it to the phone pole, and then climbed the ladder and the pole to the TOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to go Liz, I don’t know anyone except “crazy” Jenni who would do that, so great job Liz.
I also made delicious hot cross buns for FAT TUESDAY.

Shout out to Liz
Liz is in Ohio practicing her "splitter" job in Cleveland- Ohio for two days. Just want to give her a shout out- hello Liz if you are checking on the computer, hope it is not too bad for you and that the weather is cooperating- safe flight home. Please email or call when you get home.
Brian signed the lease for his newest studio, so he will be moving soon.
Gary had a colonoscopy and I got the results of my bone density test. Having a colonoscopy is a good thing and everyone over 55 should have it! The prep is a pain in the a_ _ but it last one evening so you can live through that and my test results came back OK. I am starting P.T. on Wednesday hope it helps the pain. Talked with Dr Stoner about Bio-identical hormones- it is all the rage on Oprah, hear is the web site to check it out for yourself- http://www.oprah.com/article/omagazine/200902_omag_menopause_hormone_therapy/1
Dr Stoner said that he has never heard of Bio-identical hormones and noone in the Geisinger OBGYN staff has heard of it either. It is very frustrating and I will continue this topic tomorrow.

I am back
I am back boy was the pain bad- I was able to do a few little projects but basically I have been on the bench as they say just trying not to move waiting for the pain to stop. I think it was related to change in barometric pressure. You hear about a tornado, I feel it.
I am just getting back into the swing of things. Gary’s basketball season is winding down. Brian is waiting to hear from his schools and working on new pieces of art. He will be moving into his new studio by March - I will post pictures. Jenni is skiing tonight and I hope to have pictures so I will post them also. Liz is on her way to Cleveland, Ohio I believe. On Sunday she starts her training on climbing poles and fixing the lines so I guess she could be a “line man” but Liz just called and said that the people that dig the holes and put up poles are line man, the “splitters” do the work that she is learning- they work with fixing and placing the lines to get the phones to work properly.

WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY- Violence, chaos, arrests and suspensions Tuesday at Williamsport Area High School. Charges have been filed against two teens, including riot, aggravated assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. 19-year-old Daphierre Grayes and 18-year-old Qu-mar Moore were arraigned late Tuesday after fighting with police officers in the school's cafeteria. The day started with a fight in the bus loop before the beginning of the school day. That brought school administrators and Williamsport Police out in force. A series of altercations followed inside the school later in the morning, culminating in a brawl inside the cafeteria.Williamsport Area School District officials tell Eyewitness News multiple fights between several students broke out in the cafeteria just after 11:30 Wednesday morning. Williamsport Police Captain Raymond Kontz said, "At that point in time, that area of the high school was secured, students were sent back to their various rooms and told to stay until the disruptive behavior could be neutralized."Police were called in to break up the fights. Students tell Eyewitness News tasers and pepper spray were used - as well as shackles. Captain Kontz said, "No students were ever shackled. The use of force as far as the officers are concerned, the investigation is ongoing, and it's information I won't release."He added the force used was to keep students and police safe. Word of the violence spread quickly to parents, who found themselves helpless and searching for answers. Even though there was no dismissal, some parents came to pick up their kids. The dozens of parents trying to get to Williamsport Area High School were met by police who told them they could not enter the school. Parent Fatimah Brooks said, "They're just telling us to disperse and it's really hard. It's difficult not knowing what's going on with your child."A security guard at the school told parents, “They’ve got everything under control. The SWAT team's down there, but they’ve got everything under control."Parents say they came in response to calls and text messages from students saying that fights were breaking out all around the school. Sophomore Jordan Staver said, "It was crazy. It was chaotic in there. We were on lockdown. We couldn't go from class to class. It was really scary, but I just wanted to get out of there."Parents were finally allowed to go up to the school to retrieve their kids around 1:00 P.M. Police did their best to calm parents’ fears, which were exaggerated by false rumors of stabbings and gunshots. "Stopping them at the bottom of the hill was to organize parents so we could release parents who wanted kids in an orderly manner," said Assistant Superintendent Dr. Don Adams.Parent Bobbi Jo Staver said, "Obviously, we're upset, we want the kids out and safe, but I think protocol had to be followed, they checked our IDs and made sure we were getting the right students." Parents we spoke with say they're sick and tired of violence and the schools and hope something will be done after this latest round of fighting at the Williamsport Area High School. Again police say they arrested a total of 5 people. The school district says they have been suspended from school. School officials are also working on extra precautions for Wednesday’s school day.

Part III the end
CLICK ON PICTURE TO SEE BIGGER
This is a story of a day in the life of my Grandfather, he was the proprietor of The Mansion House. The killer had come to a stable behind the Hotel to arrange a hunting party. Unfortunately he decided to have a few drinks at the bar in the Hotel before and them died after demanding a horse and buggy. The unreasonable rage that at that moment culminated from job loss and his wife leaving him caused him to snap. Edwin C Crouse was planning on joining the hunting party unfortunately he ended by driving his friend to a police office to be charged with murder. We joke able some of the days we have had Eric and Carl injurying their faces or Mom running Dad over in the car but just have to chalk it up to another day with Crouses'.

The Cardinal almost won tonite!
Word from NJ... Kevin made it into the school his brothers went to, Lasalle. He was to write a note to his parents for Catholic School week and he wrote - that he has hated his school for the last 8 years and was glad to be leaving!
